I want to know what is the difference between parkinson's disease and turrets?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Briefly....: Briefly... Parkinson's is a neurodegenerative (progressive) disorder that stems from a lack of dopamine. Common symptoms are shaking, stiffness and slow movement. Tourette's is a tic disorder, reasonably benign except for social implications; tics are sudden movements and involuntary sounds. Tourette's is often thought of as associated with cursing, but that is actually a less common symptom.
