Tolerance to Celexa (citalopram): You can develope tolerance to Celexa (citalopram) and other antidepressants when used for extended period of tim.At that time your doctor has to make a decision whether to increase the dose, add another antidepressant or switch to a different drug.So if it is not working for you discuss with your doctor or psychiatrist.
