Chamaemelum nobile: The major issue you may face if drinking large amounts of chamomile is possible sedation. It should be avoided when taking blood thinners or when pregnant. People with ragweed allergies can sometimes also be allergic to chamomile. Roman (also called english) chamomile (chamaemelum nobile) can be beneficial for reducing symptoms of both premenstrual syndrome & for menstrual cramps.
