What is too much: A person needs at 8-10 full glasses of water each day just to take care of the normal cellular activity of the body. A great deal more than that can cause an electrolyte imbalance in the body. This rarely occurs since the vast majority of people never take the required minimum pr day therefore they are in a continuous state of dehydration.
