A member asked:

What should i do when medication isn't enough for a herniated disc?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PT/Injections/Surger: Epidural injections, physical therapy could be helpful, when these fail with persisting symptoms more than 6-12 weeks, or progressive neurologic deficit, or bowel/bladder dysfunction then surgery is indicated.
