Wisdom teeth: Not usually. You may have an infection, call your dentist for an evaluation, he/she may put you on antibiotics. Keep the sockets clean, rinse with warm salt water after 24hrs.

Throat blockage...: Swelling after wisdom teeth removal can feel like a lump in the throat. This feeling is usually noticed when swallowing. The sensation comes from the swelling that occurs on the tongue side of the tooth extraction. If this condition persists longer than 7 days it is recommended that you return to your surgeon for an evaluation of the extraction areas.
