A 42-year-old member asked:

can a brain tumor make your head bigger?

1 doctor answer1 doctor weighed in
Dr. Paxton Daniel
Radiology 39 years experience
No: In an adult a brain tumor will not make the skull bigger. Skull enlargement in adults can occur with bony problems such as acromegaly, neurofibromatosis, fibrous dysplasia, paget's disease, thallasemia, or even bone tumors of the skull. Brain tumors, however, don't do it.
