Evaluation: Dentist will evaluate the extent of the decay and what treatment is necessary to restore the tooth properly. It may be as simple as a filling, or as complex as root canal therapy, post, and crown. Severely decayed tooth may be hopeless and need extraction

Treating a decaying : If you have decaying tooth, you need to get it filled as soon as possible. We would place a tooth colored filling. Sometimes, if the decay is very deep and the nerve of the tooth is involved, you would need a root canal. To avoid getting root canals, take care of your teeth and visit a dentist at least every 6 months.
