is there a preferred way to handle this anxiety disorder and move ahead in life?

Dr. Ana Adelstein

For my money, it's:: Talk therapy that goes well beyond the line, "tell me how u feel about that." seek someone w/ expertise in diagnosis &treatment of anxiety disorders. It's vital 2understand what anxiety is, how it ticks. Benefit from specific approaches proven 2B effective in helping ppl develop skills 2manage anxiety (esp cbt, act, mindfulness). If really struggling, meds can b important. http://www.anxietybc.org.
