That depends: Seek standard medical evaluation to determine the cause of abdominal pain. Surgical abdomens & infections should be ruled out. Depending on the cause of pain, acupuncture may be very beneficial. It is best when your personal physician and the acupuncturist communcicate together.

What's causing it? : May help with pain or stress (if you Believe in it enough). But the disease itself could be serious ( ? Appendicitis ? Heart pain? Bowel obstruction ?Gallbladder? Tumor?). Make sure it's nothing serious before you trust in acupuncture. If no serious pathology, could then attempt acupuncture. Feel better
