Not as easy.........: First, why not exercise. You be healthier in many ways. Weight will come off more easily. Plus you won't lose muscle you won't get back (without exercising). Two ways! caloric restriction, ie 1200 kcal/day. You will lose one pound of muscle per three pounds of fat! a low carb diet if you are an apple. More protein and less muscle loss! but all is enhanced with exercise.

Many: Drastically cut calories, but, i would not advise it. The best way is a balanced diet and moderate exercise.

Calorie reduction: Losing weight is not about exercising but more about calorie restriction. Exercising does not increase weight loss, but may help increase metabolism which helps with weight loss.
