Hip pain: An old hamstring injury should not cause hip pain however it would depend on where your pain is. Pain in the deep groin referring down the inside of the thigh to the knee is usually from the hip joint, pain at the outside of the hip may be from the trochanteric birsa and pain behind the hip can be from the back, pisiformis muscle or ischial bursa so the cause may depend onwhere the pain is.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.

Locking in the hip may be due to a cartilage tear or ligament tear or loose body in the hip
