Neither are likely: Given that progeria is so rare & hard to study, the likelihood of some treatment to reverse the metabolic consequence of this disease is remote. If it were, it would simply bring the kid up to the longevity of normal humans.

Progeria: There is currently no cure for Progeria. I am not sure how one would correct a genetic mutation after the fact. Although it sounds wonderful - I am not sure that treatment for this disease would be a fountain of youth.
