Chicken allergy: Chicken meat allergy is not common or not commonly reported. A person develops food allergy after ingesting that particular food and eventually the body's immune system recognizes that food protein as "abnormal" and makes ige antibodies. On re-exposure (ingestion) allergy symptoms occur. Sometimes chicken allergy goes along with feather or egg allergy.
