Possibly: Chicken allergy is under-diagnosed or under reported. Typically a food allergy will present with skin symptoms (hives, swelling, itching), GI symptoms (abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea), or worse eczema, not ear itching . If symptoms occur with ingestion consistently, this suggests a possible cause. An allergist can perform skin testing to chicken and other poultry to assess for food allergy.
