I want to know what is the difference between taking vitamins and eating vegetables?

Supplement vs diet: Vitamin in the form of pill is convenient, as well as you know how much and what you will get from it. But pills contain lots of preservatives/chemical to prolong the shelf-life for sale. Fruits/veggies contain variety, fresh, unaltered vitamins/minerals especially when consumed raw as in salad etc.. Also, these provide roughage/fibers to enhance regularity and better colon health. Good luck.

Not just vitamins: It's really not an either-or decision, as vitamins are meant to supplement, not substitute for, a healthy diet. Most people need multivitamins today because we don't consistently eat healthily and the soil our food grows in, is depleted of nutrients compared to years ago. There are good multivitamins that do not contain colorings or preservatives. Mega foods is one variety; there are many more.
