A member asked:

What is the difference between dry vitamin and the softgels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Only the "carrier": Vitamins can be foul-tasting, so manufacturers sometimes make the tablets a chewy tasty gel, a sugary chewable tablet or candy-taste liquid (children's vitamins), or just coat the tablet with a sweet or "protective" no-taste shell. The important stuff inside--the actual vitamin(s)--are the same regardless of carrier!
