Increase rate or PVC: Most of the time, caffeine has no adverse effects when used in moderation, and if individuals not sensitive to it, in which cases, leads to increased heart rate, slight inc bp, increase extra (ectopic) beats (pac or pvc's). If caffeine in those people take a stress test, resting pulse is increased and therefore, pulse with exercise is also. Speak with cardiologist doing the testing.

Depends...: If you are having a pharmacologic stress test, the caffeine can interfere with the pharmacologic agents and cause a false negative test.
