Diet and exercise: Losing weight and gaining muscle boils down to diet and exercise. Watch your calorie intake, eat healthy (lean proteins, lots of fruits and vegetables, avoid sugary and/or alcoholic drinks, avoid carbs), and of course exercise regularly and increase your overall activity level (i.e. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park farther away, etc).
