Plyometric exercises: Plyometric exercises are exercises based on exerting the maximal force in as a short period of time as possible. The goal is increasing speed and power. The exercise goal is to move a muscle in extension to maximal contraction as fast as possible.The program should be supervised especially if the athlete is unfamiliar with the technique because when performed with poor technique, injury can occur.
