Heart rate too high: A heart rate of 146 is way too high. If this is the true heart rate then any patient would need urgent evaluation. My only caveat is that sometimes BP machines record heart rate twice as fast as it really is, especially in physically fit people. If your BP is low this could also increase heart rate - evaluation, diagnosis and treatment are complex and require a cardiologist.
