Urticaria: Urticaria is resolved when you don't get any more hives on the skin. Most urticaria disappear within 6 weeks. However some people may have them for months or even years. Causes of urticaria are multiple. Most of the time it is an allergic reaction to a food or medication, sometimes allergic reaction to environment. Some people have autoimmune urticaria caused by a dysfunction of immune system.
