I have degenerative disc disease, would an inversion table help for the pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Spinal decompression: Remember, any changes that occur with traction are temporary. Once normal weight bearing is restored, all changes revert to pre-traction state. Inversion tables do exactly the same thing for about $250 total vs. Around $200 per treatment with chiropractic traction. If this treatment avoids the need for meds, it is great. No problem trying it as long as other important causes ruled out first.
