A member asked:

If i had a blood clot in my leg, will a ct scan show anything relating to the clot? i had one done today, doc wouldn't do ultrasound.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: But, If and only if IV contrast was administered and the leg was in the scan. Also, There are limitations depending on the machine used and the way the scan was set up.
