Yes: There are some medicines that stimulate ovulation since some women could have anovulatory periods. In other cases the reason is totally different but in any case you must see a physician (start with your family doctor or pediatrician) who will probably refer you to an obstetrician or fertility dr. Yes: If you have periods that are more that 35 days apart you should see your doctor because you may be a candidate for ovulation induction. There are multiple ways to do this, the basic and cheapest is with clomid (clomiphene). It is available only by prescription and should be used with supervision of your physician.
