Missed period: Irregular or missed period bleeding can signal a pregnancy so check for pregnancy if a risk for you. But 15% of women can have a menstrual cycle without an ovulation or the production of Progesterone and then the normal triggers for bleeding are not there which makes the period missed and irregular. Getting two periods a month can mean an early cancer or a problem. See your clinic.

Irregular cycles: It is common for females to have irregular cycles. Treatment is usually oral contraceptive pills. This might be a good thing anyways if you are sexually active.

May be ok: Your period may be normally irregular at your point in life. There may be other causative problems as well. You may need to see a physician to make that determination. Also, you should be aware that in some states, you are under the age of consent for sexual activity. Be aware of this, it has implications for your partner. However, you should call your physician and get a blood pregnancy test.

Menstrual cycles: It is common for teenagers to skip a period and have irregular cycles. It is also more likely to happen if you are very athletic, gain or lose weight, using birth control pills, or have an eating disorder. Still, if you are sexually active, you could be pregnant. I would track your cycles to see if it happens often and see your doctor if you notice that it becomes more irregular.
