I have pain on the left side of my throat in tonsil area everytime i swallow. even my tongue is hurting. any idea what that could be?

Sore throat: It sounds like a sore throat. Try gargling water as hot as you can stand without burning your throat. Also try some vitamin c & e if you have it. If pain persists, you may wish to see an ENT specialist.

Sore throat: Upper respiratory infection. Bacterial, viral, or fungal infection. Infected teeth or gums, Snoring/sleep apnea. Etc. See your family physician for examination and appropriate treatment.
