Emergency: I can't diagnose over computer but you should most likely go to er if you are having chest pain.

Many possibilities: What is your age? Are you diabetic? Do you smoke? Are you short of breath? Does is come on with exertion? With cough? Do you have a fever? Is your chest sore to touch? Do you work out? Does exercise make it worse or better? Does it change if you lie down or sit up? Your answers would help localize the problem. If you're actively having pain, consider going to the er.
