It seems you have an acute allergic reaction but I am not sure the allergen is from the old woman's hand but it can't be ruled out entirely. If needed, you can take anti-allergic medication such as allegra (less sedative effect) or benadryl, OTC allergic meds, for those symptoms. It could be a coincidence then you should see a dermatologist if those skin findings last more than 3 days. Good luck.
