By Drugs.com: "monobenzone is not for treating freckles, café-au-lait spots, sun damage, melanoma, jaundice, or other pigmentation disorders not caused by vitiligo". This cream is used to depigment darker skin around the areas of vitiligo which helps even out coloring and appearance of the skin. Take care.
