Is vision blurring a serious side effect of carafate? my dr. has not gotten back to me yet , and rxlist says its serious and to call 911, and the others do not, can someone please help me,thank you?

Blurring vision is not a typical side effect of Carafate. Carafate is not absorbed, it coats the stomach to protect it form ulcerations. So, if you are having blurry vision, you need to see your eye doctor to evaluate it. Good luck to you!
