I recently was diagnosed with hashimotos but not hypothyroidism. im struggling with weight loss and im considering getting off birth control. ive read long term use of birth control can affect my thyroids. would getting off of birth control help?

I don't think there is a relationship between Hashimoto's disease and of birth control medications. There are some risks to usingn birth control but for the most part they are very rare. I don't think those risks are increased with the management of your Hashimoto's disease.
