If my newborn is exposed to toxoplasma oocysts postnatal, will her immune system be strong enough to fight it off or prevent serious illness? or when will her immune system be strong enough? at 3 months? 6 months?

Toxoplasmosis is caused by a parasite commonly seen in Cat feces. Persons most at risk of illness are the very young, the very old and those with immune problems. There is no specific age where the immune system is strong enough to prevent the infection from becoming an illness. Avoid contact between litter box contents and susceptible persons, wash hands thoroughly or wear gloves. Clean box daily
