I have liquid, yellow stool with blood or mucus in it. i have fatigue, severe abdominal pain, and many other symptoms. what do you think is causing this issue? i am getting tested for ibd, so hopefully all is well?

Infectious colitis could have the same manifestation but the disease is usually self-limited or resolved with antibiotic therapy. Inflammatory bowel disease needs to be ruled out when the course is prolonged and/or recurrent. I hope you only have the former problem then you should be fine. Yes, you should get tested for ruling out IBD. Good luck.
