The HIV would have to enter your bloodstream for the infection to be transmitted. The virus can enter your bloodstream stream through the mucus membranes of the rectum or vagina. If you have concerns about this exposure, get tested in 3 weeks and again in 90 days.

There has never been a proved case of HIV transmitted by fingering, regardless of cuts on the finger. Still, be smart. If this partner is known to have HIV and not on effect treatment with HIV undetectable in his or her blood, best to avoid similar events in the future. Better safe than sorry!
