Can a corneal abrasion cause eye glasses prescription to change?

If the abrasion is only affecting the top layer of the cornea then the prescription will not change. If it is deep enough to disturb the next lower lay, the stroma, then there can be alterations in the prescription. most abrasions are superficial.
