For the last 10 years, i alternate between diarrhea and constipation and rarely have normal bowel movements. i feel fine, do i have diverticulitis?

Symptoms of tics: Probably not. It could be irritable bowel syndrome. The classic symptoms of diverticulitis are left lower quadrant abdominal pain. Diverticulitis and diverticulosis(no inflammation) can almost always be seen on a CAT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. Colonoscopy is also helpful.
