I've had an iud for over a year and noticed some light bleeding in my underwear. this is the first day i noticed this. i am accustomed to not having my period with the iud. should i be worried about light bleeding?

Spotting and occasional light bleeding can be a side effect of using an IUD. It should only be occasional and not a monthly occurrence. You may notice spotting or light bleeding after sex, masturbation or even heavy exercise. This can be normal.
