Im 46 i had a iud inserteted in july this year in november it ruptured no where to be found and with it came out was blood clots a lot of heavy bleeding and have not had a period or any bleeding since it came out ?

IUD at 46 ?'s: Any IUD may be displaced by uterine contractions, forcing it into the endo-cervical canal and eventually expelling it. At 46, however, your regular cycles may cease due to delays in ovulation ("peri-menopause") and resume after several months. Although pregnancy is rare after 40, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain.
