A member asked:

I developed a weis ring after retinal tear. will it ever disappear. it frightens me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This happens after a posterior vitreous detachment and it's fibrous and may settle in the bottom of your eye & disappear after months. They can also be safely removed or broken up by laser by a specialist if they bother your vision. Your ophthalmologist can advise you best.
