Can people get prescribed epidiolex if they have seizures due to tuberous sclerosis?

There are various types of seizures and various antiseizure meds. For this reason seizure disorders are best treated by a neurologist with a special interest in seizure disorders.

There are numerous anti-epileptic drugs these days, and depending upon the type of seizure disorder, some may be chosen specifically. Epidiolex has been used for Dravet's when other drugs have failed, but this situation might be analogous in other diseases. Discuss your choice of drugs with your neurologist.
