Maybe. A general rule is any pre-existing condition than may get worse during the rigors of basic training may disqualify a recruit from acceptance in any of the armed services. A waiver can be obtained through the command for some conditions and are granted when and if the command finds the defect minor and the applicant worthy. Complications during basic can lead to a medical discharge.
