A member asked:

Is there a psychological component to the clinic room wait? i find that the longer i wait the more flustered and incoherent i become

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could certainly be..: There's a psychological component to everything! but, steroids can also alter your mood state...Some get "hi", others get "low". But, i'd say you might be on to something! some people make a personal interpretation out of something that may have nothing to do with their self-worth. A lot of different things can hold a doctor up! try to suspend judgment until you know what caused the delay.
