You can order a Snellen Eye Chart from Amazon for under $10. Hang it at 20 feet away with good lighting and the last line you see well is your vision. Depth perception is created by the 2 eyes, separated by a few inches, looking at the same object. The depth is obvious but hard to explain. If this is confusing, have your doc test you.
