I have to get a d&c tomorrow to look into a bleeding problem im having. im confused on exactly whats going to happen. how does it work? and my dr told me she cant put me under or give me any kind of numbing. does it hurt?

ASk your GYN surgeon about a local anesthetic given around the cervix which will make the procedure much less painful. If your GYN physician refuses, obtain a second opinion and cancel the surgery, as the pain and discomfort do not have to happen.
