Upper thigh numbness. mri show problems l2-s1. 2 epidural no luck. but emg showed normal im confused now. what could be going on ? numb for 6 months

?MERALGIA?: Doubt MRI findings are cause, and epidural is not indicated unless radiculopathy. Was EMG complete? Did it examine both femoral nerve and lateral femoral cutaneous nerve of thigh? If not, does not rule out meralgia paresthetica, which may be your answer. Have conference with your doctor.
