I have had 3 head ct scans and a head mri . and i have had an abdomen ct scan . and a head and neck x-ray and a chest x-ray in about a 3 month span is this a dangerous level of radiation am i in danger?

It is thought that any x-rays increase the risk of mutation in cells in x-ray path. But very small. It is thought that flying from NYC to LA gets you about as much radiation as one chest X-ray. Always advise to minimize exposure and discuss with radiologists who can tell you more about exposures from the machines they are using based on tests they are doing. x-ray should be considered small risk.

Yes, you are. Such imaging studies are done under the pressure of figuring out what is going on based on the intensity of your symptoms. You can always ask the question, you will have to accept the complexity of it.
