Hi, i'm a 45 year old male and i've been recently diagnosed with adhd. ive tried both vyvance 30mg and dextroamphetamine 5mg x 3 a day. vyvance makes me irritable, moody and i'm losing weight. dextroamphetamine doesnt do this and seems better. why?

You are likely experiencing side effects from the Vyvanse and not from the other medicine. You should be getting treated by a psychiatrist to determine the medicine that is the most effective with the least side effects. Good luck!
