A member asked:

Sharp right tonsil pain that comes and goes, and gets triggered with certain movements (turning head and speaking). it happened the first time yesterday morning when i was laying down and sipping on my first cup of coffee. no other symptoms. advice?

I wouldn't consider the pain coming from the tonsil. I believe you're experiencing spasms or cramping of throat/neck musculature with those maneuvers. Apparently this isn't a continual issue throughout the day and once the spasm subsides, you experience no discomfort during meals, conversing, etc. Your physician or an ENT specialist can examine & advise you if you still have concerns.
