Can you tell if hearing loss is due to earwax or something else such as aging?

THe only way to determine this is to have your ears and hearing evaluated. You can see an audiologist who will be able to examine your ears and also administer a hearing test. If you have ear wax, the audiologist can remove the wax prior to the hearing test. The hearing test will determine the type of hearing loss you have, if any. Then, the best treatment can be given. Good luck!
